Connecting LQ SIP to Cisco Call Manager (CUCM)

Cisco Call Manager is a very common SIP provider. LQ is expecting either single SIP Client accounts or a SIP Client (Advanced) eight-port device to be configured - it is unable to handle SIP Trunks.

When setting up multiple SIP client connections, LQ will often easily connect to the first registration, but fail for subsequent logins. The first course of action to remedy this is to reboot the LQ - this will force a connection attempt of all SIP Clients at once which Cisco will accept.

If given a choice, choose Third-Party SIP Advanced - Standard SIP Non-Secure, and turn off Digest Authentication
