From v12.1 it appears EHX allows

  • Other EHX versions might have smaller limits

  • You will also need to know what other cards are being used and then check the latest HX power calculator( from Eclipse HX System Power Calculator )

We recommend forced air cooling for all matrices but for the OMEGA frame forced air cooling is mandatary when using 5 IPA cards in the Omega frame

Tip: To spread the heat map load some customers ensure there is 1 card slot gap between IPA cards.

The maximum card limit for an Omega frame is 5x EIPA and or IVC/EQUE cards
