HelixNet Powerlines - Can I use StarQuad cable?

Question: Can I use StarQuad cable for HelixNet Powerlines from HMS-4X to intercom stations

Answer: StarQuad cable is not recommended for anything but very short distances.

But please read onwards.
StarQuad has high capacitance which acts as a low pass filter on the high frequency data of powerlines. This reduces the amount of data that can be passed through the powerline and will cause low data rates, fewer quality bars on the connected intercom station. When the powerline is heavily loaded the low data rates can cause additional system latency and eventually dropped audio packages which sound like “stuttering” audio.

Using a small amount of StarQuad cable, example: as a portable cable, could work, yet should always be validated on the connected stations signal quality bars which can be found in the lower left corner of the first OLED display of the intercom station.
