Can the LQ-2W2 unit drive more PL beltpacks using a bigger PSU
If I’m using the bigger PSU from a LQ R with a LQ-2W2 will I get more power to the Partyline Outputs to connect 2x KB-702’s ? (they need around 110mA)
As far I know the LQ-2W2 has up to 150mA on the Partylines (pair) , if its DC powered with the original PSU.
The PSU from the LQ-R gives 250mA (per Pair) to the Partyline will it do the same with a LQ 2W2 ?
Answer:
The PL Output power from an LQ throw down is regulated to 150mA, so changing the PSU will not change the output power on the PL lines.
You will need to use a LQ-R2W4 or LQ-R mixed unit or add an external PL power supply PS-702 if you want to drive more PL letpacks
