If you need to buy a passcode or need to update your present one, you'll need to have your Matrix Dongle ID.

if you are adding features to an existing passcode, you'll want to make sure that the new passcode issued to you doesn't wipe out what you already have.

Instructions

You'll need to find you Eclipse matrix Hardware (dongle) ID number.  This is a unique ID number for your Matrix Hardware.

  1. To find your dongle ID, open EHX and be connected to your matrix Frame so it shows up as orange or green in the LAYOUT page. DIAGNOSTICS/EVENT LOG/SYSTEM OVERVIEW, usually on line 8)
  2. When buying your passcode, you'll be asked for this Hardware ID number.  This may take up to three days to get from the factory, so plan accordingly.
  3. When you get the new, unique to your matrix frame passcode, enter the feature passcode (found in CONFIGURATION/PREFERENCES/SYSTEM ACCESS CODES (at the bottom of the page).
  4. Once the code is entered, APPLY the change, and it would be best to apply with a reset of the frame with a BLACK or a RED reset.
You can do that by selecting the APPLY CHANGES button

and click on the OPTIONS button in the lower right-hand side of the APPLY window.

Make sure to let the sales team knows all present licensed features (one AIC license and any other features such as HCI or PM PRO/Dynam-EC) that you already have so the new license they issue won’t wipe out what you already have.
